Mateus Linhares came out and tried to block the shot, but Francisco Valle slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. In the 7th minute Serginho Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateus Linhares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Mazinho Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bigodes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mazinho Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 played minutes REAL DE CABICHABA got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Maciel. Oscar Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mazinho Quadros's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. After 17 played minutes Bigodes FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiago Matos. Vito Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Oscar Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Sousa charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Márcio Sousa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th minute, Márcio Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Adelino Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateus Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Esteves in the 27th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, REAL DE CABICHABA's Arthur Matos made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateus Linhares was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Bigodes FC's Mazinho Quadros in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye REAL DE CABICHABA's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frédson Leite during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bigodes FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Frédson Leite hit a great ball. Elivélton Nascimento hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Bigodes FC's Mazinho Quadros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Mateus Linhares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Glauco Marinho hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Serginho Esteves struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mateus Linhares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for REAL DE CABICHABA. REAL DE CABICHABA's Oscar Teixeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save REAL DE CABICHABA from getting a goal against them. In the 73rd match minute, Bigodes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Leite to maneuver through the defense. 76 minutes into the match, Bigodes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adelino Abreu came free, but Mateus Linhares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bigodes FC's Mateus Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Valle in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Valle in the 89th minute of play forced Bigodes FC's goalkeeper Mateus Linhares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Esteves in the 91st minute of play. If Mazinho Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Serginho Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Mateus Linhares. Bigodes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The REAL DE CABICHABA fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bigodes FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
