The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Váldson Aparecido stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Simões having to interfere. When Murilo Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Exclamação de Athena fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murilo Brasil couldn't finish the play. Fabiano Ramos was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 58 played minutes Marajá do Sena A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fabiano Ramos. The supporters of Exclamação de Athena booed when Marajá do Sena A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murillo Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Murilo Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Thiago Cardoso made a precise shot to the right of Elivélton Baiano. Marajá do Sena A.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Exclamação de Athena's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
