Dragoş Ignătoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Trigo in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeu Massa in the 9th minute of play forced Parma F.C's goalkeeper Dragoş Ignătoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Ignătoiu came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Star Wings's Romeu Massa. But to his dismay, Romeu Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Dragoş Ignătoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Hélder Nóbrega's late challenge caught a Black Star Wings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Nóbrega helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Parma F.C getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Dida Meirelles hit a great ball. Romeu Massa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeu Massa in the 31st minute of play forced Parma F.C's goalkeeper Dragoş Ignătoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Parma F.C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Dida Meirelles hit a great ball. Romeu Massa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dragoş Ignătoiu having to interfere. When Romeu Massa came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Black Star Wings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeu Massa couldn't finish the play. Valério Pinheiro hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Marcos Vidal didn't quite understand what happened when in the 49 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet.

In the 62nd match minute, Parma F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Dragoş Ignătoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Dida Meirelles hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 70th match minute, Parma F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zühtü Özkutay to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Parma F.C getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dida Meirelles hit a great ball. If Zühtü Özkutay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Romeu Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Parma F.C's Arnaldo Mumbach got a free kick in the 94th minute. Romeu Massa struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Dragoş Ignătoiu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Star Wings.
