Aníbal Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauan Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Guerreiros SC's Aníbal Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David de Medeiros in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Kauan Vasconcelos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jiquiri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Jiquiri getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Deivid Viana hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Jiquiri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deivid Viana in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aníbal Carvalho saved Guerreiros SC from getting behind. A collision led to Guerreiros SC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. João Pedro Pernambucano hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, David de Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Aníbal Carvalho. Guerreiros SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Guerreiros SC's Cesinha Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Róbson Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the game, Guerreiros SC's Lino Marques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dedê Figueiredo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 36th match minute, Guerreiros SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilian Pontes to maneuver through the defense. Jiquiri's attack was well implemented in the 39th minute, but when David de Medeiros was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, David de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jiquiri's supporters rose to their feet, but David de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aníbal Carvalho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauan Vasconcelos in the 47th minute of play forced Guerreiros SC's goalkeeper Aníbal Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

In the 67th minute of the match, David de Medeiros got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aníbal Carvalho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Aníbal Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Vasconcelos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deivid Viana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Aníbal Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Jiquiri booed when Guerreiros SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilian Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Jiquiri's Hernani Rezende tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jiquiri's Deivid Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Guerreiros SC's zone, David de Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aníbal Carvalho came out of the goal and David de Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jiquiri's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
