Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eusébio Ferreira kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Osvaldo Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eusébio Ferreira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Simão Zonta having to make a save. Simão Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo de Lara in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Luís Paulo de Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 minutes, Andrézinho Ferreira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dragões de Santiago FC and the Belo Jardim Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dragões de Santiago FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Andrézinho Ferreira hit a great ball. If Zézinho Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Márcio Cabral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Paulo de Lara took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Simão Zonta. Simão Zonta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 35 minutes into the game, Márcio Cabral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Simão Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Márcio Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Simão Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragões de Santiago FC's Simão Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Ferreira in the 41st minute of play. When Belo Jardim Futebol Clube's Luís Paulo de Lara in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragões de Santiago FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 50th minute, Eusébio Ferreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Simão Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusébio Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Pombal during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luís Paulo de Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Simão Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Juvenal Linhares fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belo Jardim Futebol Clube's protests and gave Juvenal Linhares a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Dragões de Santiago FC booed when Belo Jardim Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Belo Jardim Futebol Clube's Luís Paulo de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belo Jardim Futebol Clube's Eusébio Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belo Jardim Futebol Clube's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
