In the last second Gustavo de Amorim throw himself and got hold of the ball when Osvaldo Meirelles in the 5thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 10th minute, Dragões de Santiago FC's Osvaldo Meirelles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustavo de Amorim. Gustavo de Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 13thth minute of the game Osvaldo Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ZOSO ROCK CLUBE's Gustavo de Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Osvaldo Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Osvaldo Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldo Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gustavo de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duda Peixoto hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Renato Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dida Vianna struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Simão Zonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZOSO ROCK CLUBE. Renato Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Meirelles to strike the kick off in the second half. Simão Zonta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Renato Simão in the 52nd minute. Valdemar Peres charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdemar Peres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 minutes, Dida Vianna mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ZOSO ROCK CLUBE and the Dragões de Santiago FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th minute, Dida Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zézinho Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvaldo Meirelles struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gustavo de Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragões de Santiago FC. Dragões de Santiago FC's Simão Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Vianna in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, ZOSO ROCK CLUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Tróia to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Dida Vianna reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Simão Zonta. The goal made the score 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
