Caetano Tróia hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Victor Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Sergipano in the 26th minute of play. Victor Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdomiro Mesquita in the 30th minute. Sandro Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Tróia in the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to BrotherHood United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Wanderson Netto hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Valdomiro Mesquita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BrotherHood United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 44th minute, Caetano Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caetano Tróia to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Falcão Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot. BrotherHood United's supporters rose to their feet, but Falcão Sergipano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Prata breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 57 minutes into the match, Valdomiro Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victor Prata. Jardineiro SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valdomiro Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Valdomiro Mesquita blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victor Prata having to make a save. In the 61st minute, Falcão Sergipano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Prata was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Victor Prata took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdomiro Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Prata having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Falcão Sergipano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jardineiro SC's Alfredão Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Valdomiro Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BrotherHood United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
