With his leg Luiz Eger managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when Mamory's Décio Macedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Michel Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Renatinho Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, serra da raquel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Serginho Machado fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 18th minute, Mamory's Ernesto Favoretto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After a rather tough play, serra da raquel's Mauro Ceresso got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 29th match minute, Mamory was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Pedro Augusto Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, serra da raquel's goalkeeper Luiz Eger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Décio Macedo. Claudinho Peres hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Edu Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Michel Ortiz was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Renatinho Marques capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Renatinho Marques really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. After a rather tough play, serra da raquel's Edu Paraense got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in serra da raquel's zone, Décio Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Eger came out of the goal and Décio Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 66 in the game by Renatinho Marques from a close distance when the talented Michel Ortiz managed to make a qualified save. Mamory's players were relieved. In the 70th minute, Edu Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71st minute, Geovanni Neto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and serra da raquel's Luiz Eger didn't even have to move. Serginho Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Luiz Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Décio Macedo in the 74th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes, Mamory's Júlio do Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Eger came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mamory reached it. In the 80th minute Décio Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Serginho Machado came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Mamory fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serginho Machado couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Macedo in the 95th minute of play forced serra da raquel's goalkeeper Luiz Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mamory's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
