Cido Nóbrega charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cido Nóbrega the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cido Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 8 minutes, Júlio Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paladinos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 8th minute, one of Joe Bartus FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Joe Bartus FC. Aníbal Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Faustão Mendes in the 15th minute. Kauã Paulista hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Pedrinho Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Berger having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Júlio Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 25 minutes, Júlio Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paladinos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júlio Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedrinho Romero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joaquim Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Guedes in the 28th minute of play. After 35 played minutes Joe Bartus FC got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Nóbrega. In the 44th minute, Cido Nóbrega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Romero in the 47th minute of play forced Joe Bartus FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Júlio Guedes was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Pedrinho Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paladinos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrinho Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 54th minute, Júlio Guedes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquim Berger. The goal made the score 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Joe Bartus FC's zone, Caio da Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Berger came out of the goal and Caio da Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Inácio Nóbrega got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Joe Bartus FC's Inácio Nóbrega got a free kick in the 64th minute. Joaquim Berger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Guedes's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Júlio Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Joaquim Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Júlio Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Berger having to interfere. Joaquim Berger made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Pedrinho Romero sent off a good shot on target. 90 minutes into the match, Joe Bartus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Guedes came free, but Joaquim Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedrinho Romero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquim Berger. That made the score 0-4 in the 92 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Joe Bartus FC's zone, Pedrinho Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Berger came out of the goal and Pedrinho Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
