Jorginho Prata made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valério Cordeiro in the 20th minute. Hélder Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Vides charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Giovanni Vides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adalberto Paraíba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The supporters of Valente FC booed when Claros AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique da Mata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Léo de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Paraíba having to interfere. Jorginho Prata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hélder Cosme went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Valente FC's Jorginho Prata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Cordeiro in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Valente FC's Hernani Veiga seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hernani Veiga the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Valente FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hernani Veiga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Jorginho Prata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 74th match minute, Claros AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Simões to maneuver through the defense. Hélder Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Prata having to interfere.
