Igor Leal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Adalberto Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute Hélder Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Camarada EC's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Vides came free, but Dedé Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eduardo Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Igor Leal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Adalberto Paraíba to make any attempt to save it. In the 24thth minute of the game Valério Cordeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Camarada EC's Dedé Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claros AD's Adalberto Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Leal in the 26th minute of play. If Igor Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Paraíba having to interfere. Adalberto Paraíba was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Igor Leal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match, Eduardo Gerber got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adalberto Paraíba was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Frank de Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank de Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frank de Mendonça hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélder Cosme was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Claros AD defense, Igor Leal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adalberto Paraíba. The Claros AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adalberto Paraíba should have stopped the shot. Camarada EC's Eduardo Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adalberto Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Eduardo Gerber ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adalberto Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Camarada EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Claros AD for a fine match.
