Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeferson Santos kicked off to start the match. Osvaldo Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. José Vítor Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cabanas EC's goalkeeper José Vítor Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jeferson Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Oscar Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igarau EC's Oscar Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Igarau EC from getting a goal against them. After 14 minutes, Ademir Bezerra made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Igarau EC's Oscar Carioca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Igarau EC's Valdo Velasco got a free kick in the 16th minute. Osvaldo Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oscar Carioca made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Ademir Bezerra sent off a good shot on target. Jeferson Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Oscar Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igarau EC's Oscar Carioca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Igarau EC from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Vides hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cabanas EC booed when Igarau EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Víktor Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute of the match Valdir Fernandez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Oscar Carioca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Schmidt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igarau EC's Duarte Mendes was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 52nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. If Ademir Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ademir Bezerra in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Carioca saved Igarau EC from getting behind. After 60 played minutes Igarau EC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Vides. Valdo Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Ademir Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeferson Santos in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir Bezerra in the 83rd minute of play forced Igarau EC's goalkeeper Oscar Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Vítor Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Schmidt in the 86th minute of the match. Osvaldo Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Schmidt struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. José Vítor Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Igarau EC. Víktor Cunha's late challenge caught a Cabanas EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Víktor Cunha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Víktor Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jeferson Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igarau EC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
