Jeremias Koehler came out of the goal and Tibúrcio Sampaio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joacaba's Jeremias Koehler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Joacaba from getting a goal against them. With his leg Jeremias Koehler managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Furtainha SC's Tibúrcio Sampaio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A hard shot 21 in the game by Tibúrcio Sampaio from a close distance when the talented Jeremias Koehler managed to make a qualified save. Joacaba's players were relieved.
