Luís Guilherme Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Gomes having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the match Enéas Peixoto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeu Gomes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Paratubai booed when Bacuriti AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Recife didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paratubai had won after a very even match.
