Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Ekipinga FC's Aloísio Breckenfeld started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Ekipinga FC's Aloísio Breckenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Giovanni Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Gicaras defense, Samuca Amaral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovanni Branco. The Gicaras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovanni Branco should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute Rui de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Váldson Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovanni Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Amaral in the 16th minute of the match. If Afonsinho de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the game, Isaltino Ribeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekipinga FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gicaras the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ekipinga FC's Isaltino Ribeiro got a free kick in the 24th minute. The supporters of Ekipinga FC booed when Gicaras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Peixoto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Afonsinho de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dito Paiva's late challenge caught a Ekipinga FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dito Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 40th minute, one of Gicaras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gicaras. Aloísio Breckenfeld struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Giovanni Branco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ekipinga FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Afonsinho de Lara made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Aloísio Breckenfeld rounded Gicaras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Gicaras's Giovanni Branco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Gicaras from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuca Amaral got free with Giovanni Branco in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giovanni Branco made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Samuca Amaral sent off a good shot on target. When Samuca Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Ekipinga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Amaral couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuca Amaral got free with Giovanni Branco in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benê Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Váldson Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Giovanni Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Breckenfeld in the 73rd minute of the match. Afonsinho de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Perez having to interfere. The goalkeeper, Giovanni Branco, was totally fooled by Ekipinga FC's Dorian Perez, who 78 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Aloísio Breckenfeld kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Giovanni Branco. That made the score 0-5 in the 82 minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Ekipinga FC's Samuca Amaral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giovanni Branco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After a rather tough play, Gicaras's Benê Araújo got a free kick in the 94th minute. Giovanni Branco made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Samuca Amaral sent off a good shot on target. Aloísio Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gicaras's Giovanni Branco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Breckenfeld in the 99th minute of play. Ekipinga FC's Samuca Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 101st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ekipinga FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
