In the 11th minute Acácio Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexsandro Trevisan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuel Quintal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Medeiros in the 14th minute of play. Samuel Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Acácio Medeiros in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Manoel Figueiredo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osbravos EC and the Paratory SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Osbravos EC's Fred de Almeida got a free kick in the 31st minute. Samuel Quintal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Osbravos EC defense, Tales da Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Quintal. The Osbravos EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Quintal should have stopped the shot. Valdo Capixaba's late challenge caught a Paratory SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdo Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Paratory SC booed when Osbravos EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Capixaba didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Acácio Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. In the 64th minute of the match, Acácio Medeiros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Samuel Quintal saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Osbravos EC were furious when Dino Bueno was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Osbravos EC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Osbravos EC:s Samuel Quintal showed great skill when he stopped Geraldo Toscano:s penalty. After some careless play in the Osbravos EC defense, Geraldo Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Quintal. The Osbravos EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Quintal should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Osbravos EC's Doriva Pires got a free kick in the 75th minute. Paratory SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
