Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vitinho Simões kicked off to start the match. Albertino Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Léo Esteves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Salgueiro EC's zone, Luiz Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Léo Esteves came out of the goal and Luiz Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Novaes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Léo Esteves. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. A collision led to Salgueiro EC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Matías Coutinho hit a great ball. When Aluísio Gonçalves, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Léo Esteves was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Salgueiro EC's Léo Esteves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Salgueiro EC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Salgueiro EC's Matías Coutinho got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Aluísio Gonçalves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Léo Esteves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Arnaldo Fantini's late challenge caught a Salgueiro EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Fantini helped the player get up and apologised. Giovanni Barreto, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The supporters of Salgueiro EC booed when Costao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Fantini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, Salgueiro EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Aluísio Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Léo Esteves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aluísio Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aluísio Gonçalves was the one to do the kick off. Léo Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aluísio Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Salgueiro EC's Léo Esteves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aluísio Gonçalves in the 67th minute of play. Salgueiro EC's Giovanni Barreto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 71st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Costao. Luiz Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Esteves having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Costao's Aluísio Gonçalves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Léo Esteves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matías Coutinho's late challenge caught a Costao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matías Coutinho helped the player get up and apologised. After 87 played minutes Salgueiro EC got a freekick which was hit by Matías Coutinho. If Aluísio Gonçalves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Costao's Arí Madureira got control of the ball when Amílton Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Costao's Duarte Guedes got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Arí Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitinho Simões in the 95th minute of the match. Costao's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
