The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Queirós was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. Tabajara's Dinei Soeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Tabajara from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Sarmento in the 71st minute of play forced Tabajara's goalkeeper Dinei Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Virgílio Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerveja's supporters rose to their feet, but Virgílio Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dinei Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tabajara's Dinei Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Guerra in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, Amílton Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tabajara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cerveja the free kick. Amílton Dias hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Mané Velloso hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Vicente Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
