Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rubinho de Barros started the match with the kick off. Egídio Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Doriva Tande spun around in front of the goal 6 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Carin AD's goal. In the 9th minute Pedro Augusto Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney de Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rubinho de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Bate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho de Barros couldn't finish the play. After having played for 22 minutes, Doriva Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doriva Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee gave Bate a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dudu Tróia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Carin AD's Allan Loureiro. 0-1. Bate's Sidney de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Vidal in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Bate getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Filipe Nascimento hit a great ball. Albertino Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Pedro Augusto Vidal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sidney de Senna was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Pedro Augusto Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sidney de Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Vidal in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bate's Renan Cavalcante got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Pedro Augusto Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sidney de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Augusto Vidal went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Carin AD's Allan Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Carin AD from getting a goal against them. Pedro Augusto Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertino Melo in the 62nd minute of play forced Bate's goalkeeper Sidney de Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 played minutes Bate got a freekick which was hit by Arlindo Pinho. If Pedro Augusto Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto Vidal scored 2-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sidney de Senna, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Pedro Augusto Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carin AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Augusto Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bate's Rubinho de Barros got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Albertino Melo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carin AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Melo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidney de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Carin AD had won after a very even match.
