Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mathias Botelho started the match with the kick off. When Aleandro Vieira fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cayru EC's protests and gave Aleandro Vieira a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jefferson de Azevedo in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Matos saved Roncado from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Garcia during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cayru EC's Carlos Garcia got a free kick in the 9th minute. Waldemar Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Roncado's Belchior Matos got a free kick in the 19th minute. Jefferson de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Matos having to interfere. Joel Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson de Azevedo in the 24th minute of play. Jefferson de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joel Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geovânio Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeca França read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Mathias Botelho scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joel Matos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Geovânio Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Waldemar Damião made the kick off in the second half. Mathias Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Cléber Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eriberto Palmeira charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eriberto Palmeira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes, Roncado's Fernando Saraiva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeca França came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Roncado reached it. Roncado's Joel Matos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Roncado from getting a goal against them. Jefferson de Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Joel Matos made a huge save. If Waldemar Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovânio Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovânio Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Zeca França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Cayru EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cayru EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Belchior Matos was slow to take the kick. During this time Roncado's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Cayru EC's goalie and right to Paulo Amorim. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Cayru EC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Joel Matos came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Cayru EC's Jefferson de Azevedo. But to his dismay, Jefferson de Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Cayru EC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
