Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafael Silva started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Borges got free with Sílvio Luís Tróia in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6 minutes into the match, Marcus Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dedé Carneiro. Salina SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Perez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th minute, Laerte Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Tróia having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcinho Recife during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Assai SC got a freekick which was hit by Marcinho Recife. Matheus Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedé Carneiro having to interfere. Matheus Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dedé Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salina SC's Dedé Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Perez in the 28th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacarias Mattos during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Salina SC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Zacarias Mattos hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Jeremias Borges got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 39 minutes, Matheus Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Assai SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheus Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sílvio Luís Tróia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Silva in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Perez made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Salina SC's goalkeeper Dedé Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matheus Mendes. 64 minutes into the game, Matheus Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Dedé Carneiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th minute, Rafael Silva made a precise shot to the right of Sílvio Luís Tróia. Assai SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Dedé Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Perez in the 73rd minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Salina SC's Rafael Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Luís Tróia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Marcus Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dedé Carneiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Jeremias Borges scored 3-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sílvio Luís Tróia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Salina SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
