Acácio Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sílvio Luís Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marcus Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Luís Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cícero Simão in the 18th minute of play. Acácio Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Sílvio Luís Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Assai SC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marcinho Recife hit a great ball. When Mirasselvas's Cícero Simão in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Cícero Simão came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Mirasselvas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cícero Simão couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Luís Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cícero Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Assai SC's Sílvio Luís Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Viana in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Acácio Cearense stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Assai SC's Matheus Mendes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cícero Ceresso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Assai SC's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Cearense came free, but Sílvio Luís Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cícero Simão didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 61st minute. Mirasselvas's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Assai SC's Sílvio Luís Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Cearense in the 65th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronaldão Leão during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Assai SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldão Leão to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Luís Tróia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cícero Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Tróia having to interfere. If Matheus Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Assai SC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mirasselvas's performance. The match ended with a win for Mirasselvas.
