Luís Gustavo Corrêa started the match with the kick off. In the 13th minute, Robinho Prestes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th minute of the match Manoel Félix shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adelino Seco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Marrecao AD getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Dorian Paulista hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Marrecao AD got a freekick which was hit by Erik Paranaense. Adelino Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robinho Prestes in the 22nd minute of play forced Marrecao AD's goalkeeper Adelino Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Luís Gustavo Corrêa notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Tangil SS's Evaristo Cruz. Evaristo Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Evaristo Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fernando Saraiva in the 32nd minute. Charles Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Marrecao AD's Charles Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After having played for 45 minutes, Luís Gustavo Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marrecao AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Robinho Prestes made a kick off. Adelino Seco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio da Silveira in the 57th minute. Luís Gustavo Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marrecao AD's Charles Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the game, Marrecao AD's Charles Cruz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evaristo Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Charles Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Tangil SS's Basílio da Silveira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. In the 86th minute, Alan Prata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tangil SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Marrecao AD's Adelino Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robinho Prestes in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Marrecao AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tangil SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
