Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Marcelo Alvarenga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Joazeirinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marrecao AD the free kick. In the 5th minute, Marcelo Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 played minutes, Marrecao AD's Benê Meira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franklin Nóbrega came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Marrecao AD reached it. Antônio de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Seco having to interfere. Charles Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Benê Meira sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Franklin Nóbrega threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Benê Meira this time. Adelino Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan de Andrade in the 20th minute of play. Leonel Tinoco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Allan de Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Seco having to make a save. During the 35th minute of the match Marcelo Alvarenga completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marcelo Alvarenga a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Marcelo Alvarenga kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 36 minutes, Luís Gustavo Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marrecao AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Gustavo Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Marrecao AD's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio de Amaral came free, but Adelino Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonel Tinoco struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Adelino Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joazeirinho. In the 41st minute Antônio de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Décio Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Adelino Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Antônio de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adelino Seco came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Joazeirinho's Antônio de Amaral. But to his dismay, Antônio de Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antônio de Amaral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonel Tinoco's late challenge caught a Marrecao AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Tinoco helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Marrecao AD booed when Joazeirinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marrecao AD's zone, Antônio de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Seco came out of the goal and Antônio de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adelino Seco came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Joazeirinho's Antônio de Amaral. But to his dismay, Antônio de Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 67 minutes into the match, Joazeirinho's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Cruz came free, but Franklin Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Joazeirinho's Allan de Andrade got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Marrecao AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benê Meira to maneuver through the defense. Antônio de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adelino Seco having to interfere. When Antônio de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Joazeirinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio de Amaral couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Marrecao AD's zone, Allan de Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Seco came out of the goal and Allan de Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Marrecao AD's Adelino Seco got control of the ball when Antônio de Amaral tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Adelino Seco managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Joazeirinho's Antônio de Amaral fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 84th minute Allan de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adelino Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Luís Gustavo Corrêa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luís Gustavo Corrêa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio de Amaral struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Adelino Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joazeirinho. 97 minutes into the match, Antônio de Amaral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adelino Seco. Marrecao AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio de Amaral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Marrecao AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Joazeirinho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
