Victor Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio Zanette having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Rezende in the 7th minute of play forced Anadia EC's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Victor Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Anadia EC booed when Sarvuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sarvuela's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
