Dumontina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldinho Mineiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulinho Marquez in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 26 minutes into the match, Tromba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Cavalcante came free, but Paulinho Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulinho Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fábio Alves's late challenge caught a Dumontina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luiz Fábio Alves helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tromba FC's Luiz Fábio Alves got a free kick in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ronaldinho Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tromba FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldinho Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Machado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Tromba FC booed when Dumontina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulinho Marquez scored 0-3 in the 49th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael Machado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
The wind increased when Luiz Cavalcante made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Paulinho Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Dumontina booed when Tromba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonçalo Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Luz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fábio Alves hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Paulinho Ferraz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Cavalcante's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Dumontina's Umberto Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tromba FC's João Carlos Linhares got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Luiz Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Tromba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Cavalcante came free, but Paulinho Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Cavalcante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulinho Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Tromba FC's Ronaldinho Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulinho Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Machado having to interfere. With a little luck, Dumontina's Ismael Machado got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Mineiro tried to sneak it across the goal line.
