When Alexsandro Esteves came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Falas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexsandro Esteves couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Croata getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Amílton do Vale hit a great ball. Jaime Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Falas's goalkeeper Giovanni Travassos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
