Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Tavares in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilton Mineiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fausto Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Wilton Mineiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yan Carvalho in the 29th minute of the match. Wilton Mineiro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Jean Saldanha sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás de Barros in the 34th minute of play forced Catugi EC's goalkeeper Clemente Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Yan Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. With a little luck, Itamarati's Wilton Mineiro got control of the ball when Jean Saldanha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Itamarati's Wilton Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean Saldanha in the 75th minute of play. In the 75th match minute, Itamarati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Teles to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Yan Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Yan Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catugi EC's Clemente Leal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Yan Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Itamarati fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Clemente Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Carvalho in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Tomás de Barros made a precise shot to the right of Clemente Leal. Catugi EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Catugi EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Itamarati were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
