Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Ademir Veloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrinho Xavier was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the game, one of Caiary EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Caiary EC:s Luiz Paulo Arantes showed great skill when he stopped Jonathan Costa:s penalty. 1-0 came in the 10th minute when Jonathan Costa all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Luiz Paulo Arantes. Luiz Paulo Arantes came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Ibiapora EC's Silas Massa. But to his dismay, Silas Massa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Luiz Paulo Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Senna in the 19th minute of the match. Pedrinho Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jano Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Caiary EC's Jano Pitta in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ibiapora EC's goalie prevented a goal. Pedrinho Xavier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ademir Veloso's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Pedrinho Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Veloso in the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Jano Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caiary EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Pitta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Luizinho Senna made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Caiary EC booed when Ibiapora EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Caiary EC's Juvenal Secco tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Pedrinho Xavier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ademir Veloso in the 60th minute. Pedrinho Xavier was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Jano Pitta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jano Pitta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Luizinho Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ademir Veloso during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Ademir Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luizinho Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Silas Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Paulo Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizinho Senna in the 76th minute of the match. Ibiapora EC's Pedrinho Xavier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Ibiapora EC from getting a goal against them. Luiz Paulo Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizinho Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the Caiary EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ibiapora EC.
