Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ademar Miranda got the match started through his kick off. Guga de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Alessandro Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Noel Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robinho Gomes hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ademar Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga de Medeiros having to interfere. After 20 minutes, Belmiro Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guaycara SS and the Montevideu players grew even worse after the yellow card. Belmiro Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Diogo Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Guaycara SS's zone, Ademar Miranda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guga de Medeiros came out of the goal and Ademar Miranda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute of the match Faustão Amorim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noel Favoretto skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Montevideu's Arlindo Marques got a free kick in the 30th minute. Noel Favoretto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Ademar Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alessandro Diniz might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Favoretto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alessandro Diniz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute Acácio Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Diogo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acácio Branco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Alessandro Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alessandro Diniz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Montevideu's Noel Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acácio Branco in the 60th minute of play. Acácio Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Noel Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Alessandro Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válter Valladares hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Guaycara SS's Alessandro Diniz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Noel Favoretto. Noel Favoretto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 75thth minute of the game Guga Branco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montevideu's Noel Favoretto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Acácio Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaycara SS's supporters rose to their feet, but Acácio Branco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Favoretto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Noel Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Branco in the 77th minute of play. Ademar Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diogo Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guga de Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Miranda in the 97th minute of play. The Montevideu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Guaycara SS's performance. The match ended with a win for Guaycara SS.
