Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcinho Alcântara took the kick off in the first half of the match. Fernando Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. José Pedro Silveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mucuje. The supporters of Mucuje booed when Italia SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Vítor Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mucuje's Fernando Peixoto got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manfredo Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Pedro Silveira having to interfere. When Mucuje's Fernando Peixoto in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italia SS's goalie prevented a goal. After 24 played minutes Mucuje got a freekick which was hit by Sebastião Zanette. Italia SS's Elder Macedo has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 27th minute. Cauã Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th play minute Manfredo Vander came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised José Pedro Silveira. 1-0. With his leg José Pedro Silveira managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Mucuje's Juvenal Meira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Mucuje's Fernando Peixoto in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italia SS's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Peixoto to make the kick off. Mucuje's Adhemar Varela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Alcântara in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Elder Macedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italia SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mucuje the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Italia SS's zone, Manfredo Vander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Pedro Silveira came out of the goal and Manfredo Vander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mucuje fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 60th minute. Penalty! 67 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mucuje's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italia SS the free kick. In the 67th minute, Agnaldo Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Italia SS's Cauã Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd match minute, Mucuje was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juvenal Meira to maneuver through the defense. Elder Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Manfredo Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, Mucuje's goal looked a bit too open when Marcinho Alcântara came free, but Adhemar Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarcisio Pimenta's late challenge caught a Italia SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarcisio Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Italia SS a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edmundo Queirós, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Mucuje's Adhemar Varela. 1-2. When Juvenal Meira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. The supporters of Italia SS booed when Mucuje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juvenal Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 97 minutes, Edmundo Queirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Italia SS and the Mucuje players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edmundo Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. José Pedro Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Nunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Italia SS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
