Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Joel Meirelles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Joel Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Tepedino having to interfere. Caraparu's Giovani Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Meirelles in the 16th minute of play forced Caraparu's goalkeeper Horácio Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelinho Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovani Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Caraparu's Marcelinho Varela in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quinzinho EC's goalie prevented a goal. Joel Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Tepedino having to interfere. Caraparu's Horácio Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Caraparu from getting a goal against them. Horácio Tepedino made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Gil Veiga sent off a good shot on target. If Gil Veiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 36 minutes, Joel Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quinzinho EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Quinzinho EC's Joel Meirelles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelinho Varela to strike the kick off in the second half. Giovani Lopes in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivo Furtado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of Caraparu booed when Quinzinho EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Paulo da Cunha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelinho Varela struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Ivo Furtado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caraparu. Gil Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Horácio Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edson Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Nando Soeiro fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quinzinho EC's protests and gave Nando Soeiro a yellow card for diving instead. 65 minutes into the game, one of Quinzinho EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Caraparu a penalty, 66 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilmar Mumbach, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Quinzinho EC's Ivo Furtado. 2-1. In the 68th match minute, Caraparu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Dias to maneuver through the defense. Caetano Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Caetano Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Furtado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horácio Tepedino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Meirelles in the 95th minute of play.
