When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Eliseu Vergílio took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Paulo Zonta to make any attempt to save it. Frank Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amaropolis SS's Marcos Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 62 minutes, Frank Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cunuman SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseu Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Zonta having to interfere. Eliseu Vergílio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Zonta having to make a save. 70 minutes into the match, Amaropolis SS's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Leal came free, but Paulo Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tostão Faustino during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Cunuman SC got a freekick which was hit by Tostão Faustino. Cunuman SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
