Valdo Passos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo de Medeiros having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Buquira's Valdo Passos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Dráuzio da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enéas Palmeira in the 17th minute of the match. When Buquira's Adalberto de Alcântara in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Emboracica EC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 25th minute, one of Buquira:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buquira. Dráuzio da Cunha went to the wrong direction when Osvaldinho Rossi was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 27 minutes, Osvaldinho Rossi made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Buquira's Dráuzio da Cunha tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Reinaldo de Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto de Alcântara in the 30th minute of the match. In the 30th match minute, Emboracica EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egídio Pitta to maneuver through the defense. Emboracica EC's Reinaldo de Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adalberto de Alcântara in the 39th minute of play. Egídio Pitta hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Adalberto de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buquira's supporters rose to their feet, but Adalberto de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinaldo de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdo Passos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Reinaldo de Medeiros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Buquira getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Valdo Passos hit a great ball.
The wind increased when Adalberto de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Emboracica EC booed when Buquira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Raúl Loyola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dráuzio da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The supporters of Emboracica EC booed when Buquira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball.
