Emanuel Britto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrício Branco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. Pedro Luiz Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jânio Lago. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro Luiz Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Luiz Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jânio Lago having to interfere. Jânio Lago came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Altair's Fellipe Britto. But to his dismay, Fellipe Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 17 played minutes Carrocal FC got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Teles. In the 21st minute, Fellipe Britto made a precise shot to the right of Jânio Lago. Carrocal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Alcântara in the 25th minute of play forced Carrocal FC's goalkeeper Jânio Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Altair getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Manoel Baptista hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Tião Leal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabrício Branco skillfully saved the ball. Rafinha Mineiro's late challenge caught a Altair's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafinha Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Carrocal FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Mineiro. 38 minutes into the game, Altair's Sílvio Luiz Maciel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jânio Lago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Jânio Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luiz Alcântara in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Alcântara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Jânio Lago was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Britto in the 47th minute of play forced Carrocal FC's goalkeeper Jânio Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Emanuel Britto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrício Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jânio Lago was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Manoel Baptista. Jean Meira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute Emanuel Britto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jânio Lago made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Fellipe Britto sent off a good shot on target. Fabrício Branco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Britto's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 81stth minute of the game Pedro Luiz Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrocal FC's Jânio Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Alcântara in the 83rd minute of play forced Carrocal FC's goalkeeper Jânio Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jânio Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Luiz Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. If Pedro Luiz Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Altair's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
