Betão da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Wilson Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Betão da Silveira in the 11th minute of play forced Peruipe's goalkeeper Wilson Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Natercia! After a rather tough play, Peruipe's Vinícius de Andrade got a free kick in the 20th minute. Gláuber Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian do Nascimento in the 26th minute of the match. If Cristian do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivo Gomes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Gláuber Ferreira made a huge save. A collision led to Natercia getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Haroldo Marinho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian do Nascimento in the 38th minute of play forced Natercia's goalkeeper Gláuber Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 41 minutes, Luís Gustavo Arantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Natercia and the Peruipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 41st minute, Luís Gustavo Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peruipe's Ivo Gomes managed to work through Natercia's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ivo Gomes dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Cristian do Nascimento who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Gláuber Ferreira when he managed to save the team from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristian do Nascimento made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Tadeu Damião shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gláuber Ferreira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristian do Nascimento scored 2-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gláuber Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Cristian do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peruipe's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian do Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gláuber Ferreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vinícius de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gláuber Ferreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peruipe. After 62 minutes, Yan Ceresso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Natercia and the Peruipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tadeu Damião was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 65 played minutes Natercia got a freekick which was hit by Luís Gustavo Arantes. Gláuber Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Gomes in the 67th minute of the match. Natercia's Gláuber Ferreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian do Nascimento in the 70th minute of play. Ivo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Ferreira having to interfere. Tadeu Damião was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Betão da Silveira was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 85th minute. Natercia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ivo Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Ferreira having to interfere. When Betão da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Natercia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Betão da Silveira couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute, Betão da Silveira made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Pinho. Peruipe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1.
