Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narciso Vander started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Gerson Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moravania AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerson Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Moravania AD's Luiz Gustavo Cordeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jeferson da Silveira. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. Jeferson da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Cordeiro in the 8th minute of the match. Gerson Abraão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Jeferson da Silveira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Maurício Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Otávio Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Moravania AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Gustavo Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. Otávio Viana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Furtado in the 19th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chiquinho Furtado in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio Viana saved Moravania AD from getting behind. In the 24th minute of the match Wágner Gerber shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeferson da Silveira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Gustavo Cordeiro in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeferson da Silveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27thth minute of the game Chiquinho Furtado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moravania AD's Otávio Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itajubaquara SS's goalkeeper Jeferson da Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Moravania AD's zone, Chiquinho Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Viana came out of the goal and Chiquinho Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chiquinho Furtado struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Otávio Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itajubaquara SS. After a defensive mix-up in Moravania AD's zone, Chiquinho Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Otávio Viana came out of the goal and Chiquinho Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maurício Duarte during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maurício Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Moravania AD's Gerson Abraão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeferson da Silveira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Luiz Gustavo Cordeiro made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Cléberson Barreto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itajubaquara SS and the Moravania AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Itajubaquara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Maurício Duarte got his second yellow card in the match during the 54th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 55th match minute, Itajubaquara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurício Duarte to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Moravania AD's Vivaldo Paraíba tried to score from far away in the 55th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The supporters of Itajubaquara SS booed when Moravania AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Abraão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marco Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Marco Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Jeferson da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerson Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerson Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chiquinho Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Viana having to interfere. Cléberson Barreto struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Otávio Viana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itajubaquara SS. In the 81st match minute, Itajubaquara SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Furtado to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateus Vieira during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Moravania AD got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Vieira. Chiquinho Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chiquinho Furtado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Otávio Viana made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Narciso Vander got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Otávio Viana made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Chiquinho Furtado sent off a good shot on target. Gerson Abraão's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeferson da Silveira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
