Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Róbson Silveira got the match started through his kick off. Rodolfo Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Donato in the 4th minute of the match. Rodolfo Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbson Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 played minutes Murungaba SS got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Cordeiro. In the 7th minute, Róbson Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Duda Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodolfo Rocha was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Enio Santana struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Arlindo Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Murungaba SS. After 19 played minutes Murungaba SS got a freekick which was hit by Duda Palmeira. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Gabriel Lima put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Rodolfo Rocha. Catonho's Arlindo Silva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Catonho from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd minute of the match, Duda Palmeira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Arlindo Silva saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gabriel Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catonho's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Lima was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodolfo Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arlindo Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 49 minutes into the game, Róbson Silveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Rodolfo Rocha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Murungaba SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Catonho were winning 0-3.

The wind increased when Duda Palmeira made the kick off in the second half. Duda Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bebeto Abreu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bebeto Abreu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th match minute, Catonho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Abreu to maneuver through the defense. Catonho's Arlindo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredão Silva in the 63rd minute of play. But to his dismay, Gabriel Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Duda Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Arlindo Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the game, Dedé Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Murungaba SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catonho the free kick. A collision led to Murungaba SS getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Dedé Cordeiro hit a great ball. If Alfredão Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodolfo Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Lima in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, Catonho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Donato to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Murungaba SS booed when Catonho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodriguinho Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute of the match Cauã Ceresso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arlindo Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Catonho walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
