Natã Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Natã Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tiago Gabriel Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dênis Zilles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Teodoro de Godoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Gabriel Oliveira was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. In the 40th minute, Cesinha Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bananeira SC's Dênis Zilles got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dênis Zilles to make the kick off. Teodoro de Godoy struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tiago Gabriel Oliveira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bananeira SC. Daniel Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A hard shot by Lucas Macedo from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Tiago Gabriel Oliveira's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Celso França put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eugênio Hermes. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Teodoro de Godoy took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Tiago Gabriel Oliveira to make any attempt to save it. Eugênio Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celso França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso França in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugênio Hermes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro de Godoy got free with Tiago Gabriel Oliveira in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodoro de Godoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tiago Gabriel Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dênis Zilles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Oliveira having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro de Godoy got free with Tiago Gabriel Oliveira in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Celso França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugênio Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodoro de Godoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Tiago Gabriel Oliveira made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
