Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Alves started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Candido's zone, Rodolfo Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cafu Galvão came out of the goal and Rodolfo Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cahem SC's Rodolfo Leão managed to work through Candido's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Rodolfo Leão dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The supporters of Cahem SC booed when Candido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Alcântara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Candido's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Braga came free, but Cafu Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Candido got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Borges. Rodolfo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Basílio Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Quintal having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Remo Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cahem SC's Murillo Pereira got a free kick in the 37th minute. Paulão Mesquita, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Pedro Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Quintal having to interfere. Remo Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Rodolfo Leão made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cahem SC's goalkeeper Geovani Quintal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pedro Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Quintal having to interfere. Cahem SC's Rodolfo Leão got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Rodolfo Leão came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Cahem SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Leão couldn't finish the play. When Cahem SC's Rodolfo Leão in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Candido's goalie prevented a goal. Cafu Galvão was a little too slow when Rodolfo Leão got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-1. The supporters of Cahem SC booed when Candido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Vito Hermes from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Cafu Galvão's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Remo Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cafu Galvão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Candido getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Jaime Borges hit a great ball. Rodolfo Leão was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rodolfo Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cafu Galvão having to interfere. Jaime Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Pedro Alves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Geovani Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Remo Braga came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Cahem SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remo Braga couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cahem SC played a much better game than Candido and deserved their victory. The Candido players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
