Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Róbson Mesquita kicked off to start the match. Vito Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Cahem SC's Geovani Quintal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Márcio Cardoso in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Murillo Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cahem SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matinha SS the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Cahem SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Pereira to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Matinha SS's Kauã Diniz tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Geovani Quintal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Róbson Mesquita went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Remo Braga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Márcio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovani Quintal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Clóvis Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Leão in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Matinha SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Remo Braga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Leão in the 27th minute of play forced Matinha SS's goalkeeper Clóvis Bittencourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cahem SC's zone, Róbson Mesquita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovani Quintal came out of the goal and Róbson Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Remo Braga's late challenge caught a Matinha SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remo Braga helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cahem SC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Remo Braga hit a great ball. Róbson Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Quintal having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Matinha SS's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Pereira came free, but Clóvis Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rodolfo Leão to strike the kick off in the second half. Márcio Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Geovani Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A well-hit corner resulted in Conrado Ceresso heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When Matías Brito fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matinha SS's protests and gave Matías Brito a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Matinha SS got a freekick which was hit by Matías Brito. In the 65th minute Róbson Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovani Quintal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clóvis Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remo Braga in the 69th minute of play. Remo Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Clóvis Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Márcio Cardoso notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Cahem SC's Geovani Quintal. Geovani Quintal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Armindo Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovani Quintal having to interfere. Geovani Quintal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Róbson Mesquita's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Matinha SS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
