Manaquery FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Andes the free kick. The referee gave Andes a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Silvério Campidelis, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Manaquery FC's Cipriano Ferraz. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
