Nelsinho de Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josué Travassos came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Joazeirinho's Manolo Teixeira. But to his dismay, Manolo Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Manolo Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manolo Teixeira in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josué Travassos saved Juqueri SS from getting behind. If Manolo Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Juan Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Josué Travassos came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Joazeirinho's Manolo Teixeira. But to his dismay, Manolo Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Manolo Teixeira hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Juqueri SS's Márcio Soeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Soeiro in the 27th minute of play forced Joazeirinho's goalkeeper Nelsinho de Amaral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Eduardo Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 29 played minutes Joazeirinho got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Eduardo Mota. Gildo Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 minutes, Nilton Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juqueri SS and the Joazeirinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. 37 minutes into the game, one of Juqueri SS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manolo Teixeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Manolo Teixeira hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Teodoro Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joazeirinho's Juan Barral got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Juan Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teodoro Reis during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Juqueri SS got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Reis. During the 85th minute of the match Teodoro Reis completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Teodoro Reis a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Josué Travassos made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Juan Barral sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Mazza in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho de Amaral saved Joazeirinho from getting behind. The Juqueri SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Joazeirinho were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
