Júlio Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Didi Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Júlio Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Diego Mota was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Didi Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Reis in the 13th minute of play. Ramón Eger hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Eurico Pinho struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Didi Rosado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pranchado EC. A hard shot 16 in the game by Váldson Fernandez from a close distance when the talented Fernandinho Cearense managed to make a qualified save. Pranchado EC's players were relieved. Jacinto Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, Pranchado EC's goalkeeper Fernandinho Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Váldson Fernandez. Fernandinho Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Jacinto Faria took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Fernandinho Cearense to make any attempt to save it. Pranchado EC's Fernandinho Cearense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Pranchado EC from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Tope's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Reis came free, but Didi Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didi Rosado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Tope's Jacinto Faria ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernandinho Cearense. Fernandinho Cearense yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Reis in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Didi Rosado saved Tope from getting behind. Ramón Eger hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute Júlio Reis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Faria in the 52nd minute of play forced Pranchado EC's goalkeeper Fernandinho Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hélder Saraiva's late challenge caught a Pranchado EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hélder Saraiva helped the player get up and apologised. Hélder Saraiva hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Fernandinho Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Didi Rosado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júlio Reis in the 65th minute of the match. Júlio Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Didi Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Júlio Reis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pranchado EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Reis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Didi Rosado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd match minute, Tope was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Dante to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Fernandinho Cearense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Faria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pranchado EC's zone, Váldson Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandinho Cearense came out of the goal and Váldson Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Pranchado EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Faria came free, but Fernandinho Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tope's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
