Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo da Fonseca started the match with the kick off. Mateus Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anderson Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Leme in the 6th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Mateus Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Descarocador FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateus Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anderson Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Igarapava's Vitório Figueiredo got a free kick in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Leme in the 17th minute of play forced Igarapava's goalkeeper Anderson Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Igarapava's goalkeeper Anderson Gonçalves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Anderson Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio da Silveira in the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Délio da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anderson Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Délio da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Anderson Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Leopoldo da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Igarapava's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leopoldo da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Délio da Silveira to make the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Mateus Leme got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Luís Eduardo Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igarapava's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Eduardo Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Eduardo Pitta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dida Pontes having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Descarocador FC's André Luiz Sarmento got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Sidnei Tepedino, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo da Fonseca in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Pontes saved Descarocador FC from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
