When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Mateus Leme sped through Balneario's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of João Paulo Vale. In the 12th minute Raí de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes, Olívio Alagoano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balneario and the Descarocador FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Balneario's Olívio Alagoano got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Délio da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Meira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Descarocador FC's Délio da Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 79 minutes of play, Balneario's Raí de Souza made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Pontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Balneario's Leonardo Meira in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Dida Pontes guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Descarocador FC's Dida Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Meira in the 85th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Balneario got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Alagoano. Rui Moraes, 92 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. André Luiz Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Balneario had won after a very even match.
