Tracupa's Germano Zilles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Lucas in the 5th minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Tracupa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guto Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Baltazar Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Germano Zilles was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Luizão Vale hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Fábio Castro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alessandro Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Zilles having to interfere. Germano Zilles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Brito in the 15th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Tracupa got a freekick which was hit by Gualter Negri. A collision led to Albertina AD getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alessandro Lucas hit a great ball. Anselmo Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino Schmidt having to interfere. José Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Durvalino Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Albertina AD's goal looked a bit too open when José Berger came free, but Durvalino Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tracupa's José Berger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Durvalino Schmidt. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Albertina AD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dida Quaresma was slow to take the kick. During this time Tracupa's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Tracupa's corner Dida Quaresma fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Durvalino Schmidt quite easily take care of the ball. Anselmo Travassos struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Durvalino Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tracupa. Anselmo Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Durvalino Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizão Vale's late challenge caught a Albertina AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizão Vale helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Albertina AD booed when Tracupa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luizão Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltazar Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. Alessandro Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Baltazar Leite came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Albertina AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltazar Leite couldn't finish the play. After having played for 91 minutes, Baltazar Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Albertina AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltazar Leite was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baltazar Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Germano Zilles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Tracupa support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
