Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Luiz Gustavo Tande started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Luiz Gustavo Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coxipo's Alessandro do Vale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Coxipo from getting a goal against them. Luiz Gustavo Tande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro do Vale having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Coxipo's zone, Sandrinho Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alessandro do Vale came out of the goal and Sandrinho Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the match, Coxipo's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Tande came free, but Alessandro do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alessandro do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Tande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 18 minutes, Luís Eduardo de Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coxipo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Eduardo de Souza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th match minute, Coxipo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maurinho Silva to maneuver through the defense. After 28 played minutes Bago SC got a freekick which was hit by Durval Recife. After 29 played minutes, Coxipo's Jaime Pombal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Válbson Massa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Coxipo reached it. In the 30th minute, Rafael Paraibano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bago SC's Luiz Gustavo Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 37 played minutes Coxipo got a freekick which was hit by Maurinho Silva. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elano Lucas during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bago SC's Sandrinho Barbosa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 45 minutes into the game, Donato Marinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coxipo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bago SC the free kick. When Donato Marinho was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. 49 minutes into the match, Bago SC's Durval Recife broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vivaldo Dias was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Luiz Gustavo Tande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coxipo's Alessandro do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Bago SC's Válbson Massa got control of the ball when Vivaldo Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Sandrinho Barbosa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Coxipo's Alessandro do Vale. Alessandro do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
