Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Franklin Almeida took the kick off in the first half of the match. Luís Eduardo de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enéas Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Donato Marinho hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Alessandro do Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Chaves in the 15th minute of the match. Luiz Gustavo Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The long shot by Armandinho Netto in the 20th minute really tested Enéas Lopes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lagao SC's Enéas Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Eduardo de Souza in the 21st minute of play. Alessandro do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Chaves in the 23rd minute of play. Luís Eduardo de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enéas Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After 35 played minutes Luís Eduardo de Souza rounded Lagao SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Eduardo de Souza made a kick off. Lagao SC's Enéas Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Dias in the 53rd minute of play. If Luís Eduardo de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Eduardo de Souza in the 59th minute of play forced Lagao SC's goalkeeper Enéas Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lagao SC's Chiquinho Ferreira got a free kick in the 60th minute. After 63 played minutes Coxipo got a freekick which was hit by Armandinho Netto. Lagao SC's Abelardo Chaves managed to work through Coxipo's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Abelardo Chaves dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Franklin Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Alessandro do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Franklin Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Vivaldo Dias blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enéas Lopes having to make a save. Maurinho Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Enéas Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro do Vale having to interfere. Enéas Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vivaldo Dias's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Lagao SC's Luiz Gustavo Senna got a free kick in the 81st minute. Enéas Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Eduardo de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes, Agnaldo Severo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lagao SC and the Coxipo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 88 played minutes Lagao SC got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Severo. Enéas Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Luís Eduardo de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Coxipo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Eduardo de Souza couldn't finish the play. Coxipo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
