Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Loyola in the 3rd minute of play forced Chapadinha's goalkeeper Haroldo Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vitório do Valle in the 4th minute. After 5 played minutes Chapadinha got a freekick which was hit by Elano Tavares. Rodriguinho Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Meireles having to interfere. Aluísio Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Senna having to interfere. Alberto Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alberto Tasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Alberto Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Luiz Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Rezende in the 14th minute of play. Muriu AD's Gilberto Meirelles got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aluísio Silveira struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Pedro Luiz Senna didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chapadinha. Pedro Luiz Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Rezende in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Aluísio Silveira made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Luiz Senna. Muriu AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Richard Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gilberto Meirelles came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Muriu AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Meirelles couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Chapadinha's Aluísio Bueno got a free kick in the 31st minute. Gilberto Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Haroldo Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Rezende in the 37th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Muriu AD's Rodriguinho Terra slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Haroldo Meireles. That made the score 1-1 after 41 minutes of play. Aluísio Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Pedro Luiz Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th match minute, Muriu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tasso to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodriguinho Terra to make the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Gilberto Meirelles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muriu AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Meirelles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Rodriguinho Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Aluísio Silveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Muriu AD's Pedro Luiz Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Rezende's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Pedro Luiz Senna skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 79 minutes into the match, Chapadinha's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Meirelles came free, but Haroldo Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Chapadinha defense, Rodriguinho Terra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Meireles. The Chapadinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Meireles should have stopped the shot. Aluísio Silveira didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 84th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Aluísio Silveira ran dejectedly back to his position. In the 89th minute Amauri Loyola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remo de Amorim charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remo de Amorim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute, Remo de Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes in the game Elano Tavares got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chapadinha players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Muriu AD.
